Fighting Wetiko
Life is a Battle That You Fight to Win, not Disneyland
We are in a world of evil, of destructive, self-serving wetiko. In the last sessions, I've covered that in reasonable detail. If you haven't read through it, I do recommend that you read the previous posts on wetiko. It's useful to know about, to understand evil forces and how - even why they work. Knowing is a big part of the battle. But you can't constructively wallow in the negativity. You don't want to feed the beast, to be food for the demons, so instead you focus on the joys and triumphs of life without destroying and putting down others. Your goal is to be a reflection of love and peace rather than one of battle and anger.
The crux of the matter follows. Do you really want to be a tool that demonic forces use, food for their purposes, nutrition and pleasure? Understandably, some people just want what they want, no matter what. I'm not talking to those people. I'm talking to you. So the matter remains.
Once you've decided that, know that you are designed as a creative and free spirit, a son or daughter of blessing. Wetiko, evil is what it is. The problem is that this world has lost itself. The only way to change the world is by changing or upgrading yourself, without hurting others along the way. It's a special opportunity unique to you as a person.
It's important to find people of like mind. It's been said that a man is not an island. No human is. We are social creatures that need others to prosper. We are designed to work together, not against each other. Make music in your heart. It's about working for a higher purpose, with goals, but mostly with respect for others in mind. It's not all about you, as important as you are.
As humans, we need to be aware, not fearful. Cultivate awareness. Know about what you need to know. Yes, protect yourself and those you care about. Now make that happen. Don't listen to the salesmen of the world. That's part of the problem with the current internet. Life is not another product to buy, an idea to sell. Leave arrogance, jealousy and hatred. Build a positive spirit and make decisions that are beneficial to real people around you, not just yourself. That is a real departure from what is happening around you now. Each of us need the will to stand up and stand apart. Know also, that humans clearly don't know everything. Neither do the "experts". Even the dark forces that seek to use humans for food don't know everything. They are simply users, taking advantage of an opportunity, and human weakness. Know that truth and fight it.
You don't heal the evil of wetiko by joining with it. Instead you oppose wetiko by filling your life with love, and helping those around you that need it to find the same thing. That would solve all the problems of the world. If you simply step up and apart from the evil of the world. Yes, life is a battle that you will live. You don't get away from that. Yet, life is also about love, peace, harmony and helping one another. It negates the mind virus that rampages in the larger world scene.
Wetiko seeks to fill your mind, yet you are not powerless against it, even though most wetiko teachers have few solutions. I've already laid out the beginning of your fight against the wetiko of the world. These are ideas that are also decisions. You are not wholly at the mercy of evil, though it may appear that way. That is your awareness kicking in. You see what is about you and have taken notice. It does not need to define you and convert you, although the mind virus does seek to fill you and consume you. It is part of human weakness and worth the fight. When have human beings never had to fight for what is better? Never that I know of.
Don't listen to the naysayers, that say you can't beat wetiko. Yes, people have succumbed to it. Decent caring people have become instruments of selfishness, and human culture and society have helped to bring this about. So have the people. They've said yes. They've bought into faulty notions, manipulative systems of power and Madison Avenue bullshit. But mostly, this is about fear. Good people have hesitated to stand up for better, to simply say no, and live that reality. You don't comply with evil or idiots, or you are doomed to live underneath them, or be put under the dirt by them. (1)
Wetiko is dangerous, but what is more dangerous is believing that you can do little or nothing about it. The darkness exists, and billions bow to it. Refuse to be one of them. Be the power. Protect your mind. That is where the fight starts, regardless of what any other human expert says. Anyone that teaches otherwise is simply part of the problem.
